ABOUT MEAshley PlummerI grew up in Sioux Falls SD, where I grew to love nature and art, trying to capture both the beauty and ugliness I saw in the world through realistic and sometimes metaphorical representation. I studied Art Education at the South Dakota State school of design where I put my primary focus on drawing and painting. I currently teach High School art in Milbank, SD. When I am not teaching or working on my art I enjoy working with my horse, hiking, or traveling.

Recent Projects
September 3-24th I will have work on display at The Bank on Main st in Milbank, SD. I will be holding an artist meet and greet there September 17th at 10-11am. I will also have additional work available for viewing and purchase during the meet and greet time.
I have recently finished up another book illustration job with publishing company Tree Shadow Press that will be coming out within the next year. I am very excited for this one as it will be the company's first hard cover.
Spring 2022 My students attended a state art competition receiving best team in SD as well as a few second and third place prizes for individuals.
